There Are Some New Changes, Though Small, To The Practice's Privacy Policy.
As of February 5th, 2014, Dr. Larrow's practice has officially added some new basic information regarding Electronic Health Records (EHR) to the practice's privacy policy.
The addition is simply that industry standard EHR services may be, or are used, and that the service provider and Dr. Larrow have both signed the appropriate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) required by law. Also, that Dr. Larrow has taken all of the steps necessary to comply with the signed BAA and HIPAA with proper security measures. If there is any change to the services used, or how they are used (i.e. another, or different service used in the future, or a local or federal law change) then patients will be informed appropriately.
